ABRSM (The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) is the world's leading specialist in music assessment, our consistent and rigorous approach carries recognised international authority.

ABRSM in Finland

Since 1889, ABRSM has provided music teachers and their students with exams and assessments that nurture and evaluate an individual's performance and progress. Each year over 650,000 candidates have taken  exams in more than 90 countries around the world. This year marks ABRSMs fifth anniversary for offering Practical exams in Finland.

About ABRSM exams

We have designed  exams and assessments to motivate students of all levels and ages, giving them a series of realistic goals and tangible rewards for their achievements.The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music is a registered charity established by the Royal Academy of Music, the Royal College of Music, the Royal Northern College of Music and the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. The four Royal Schools are themselves also registered charities.

The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music's core activity is the operation of an authoritative and internationally recognised system of exams and assessments to encourage and motivate players and singers at all levels through the provision of goals and the measurement of progress. Assessments range from a Prep Test for beginners to Diplomas for advanced students and professionals.
